Monday April 7th | 8:15 am - 9:45 am
► Redefine Impossible

Known as The Iron Cowboy for the signature cowboy hat he wears while running races so his five kids can see him coming from far away, James Lawrence is an ultra-endurance athlete who has pushed himself beyond what many doctors previously believed to be physiologically possible. In so doing, he has redefined both mental toughness and physical endurance.
You’ve surely heard of an Ironman; 2.4-mile swim + 112-mile bike + 26.2-mile run. In 2012, James did 30 of those in one year. That put him in the Guinness Book of World Records. In 2015, he went further. He completed The 50-50-50; 50 Ironman distance triathlons, in 50 consecutive days, in 50 different states…all while raising money to combat childhood obesity. That astounding accomplishment is the subject of the critically acclaimed Amazon Prime documentary; Iron Cowboy | The Story of the 50.50.50. But that wasn’t enough.
In 2021, he did the unimaginable. This time, he completed The CONQUER 100, 100 Ironman distance triathlons, in 100 consecutive days! That’s 140.6 miles per day, every day, for 14 straight weeks, for a total of 14,060 miles! This time he raised money to combat sex trafficking. The documentary of the Conquer 100 debuts in December of 2022. In between his triathlon feats of strength, James has summited Mt. Kilimanjaro on a bicycle, completed the Fiji Eco-Challenge, the Race Across America, and Norseman World Championship, as well as a 235-mile run across Greece.
What you believe is possible begins in your mind. James teaches people to master their own internal conversations, eliminate excuses, cultivate hope, and ignite an unshakable belief in their own abilities. The result is an extraordinary unlocking of virtually limitless human potential.
Ignite Your Team’s Vision, Belief, Commitment, Collaboration, Culture and GRIT
THE CHALLENGE - In today’s hyper-competitive, constantly changing business world, organizations and employees must continually evolve, envision new possibilities, and navigate adversity, both foreseen and unpredicted. Failure to do so can be catastrophic, even terminal.
THE SOLUTION- Developing the right mindset, reimagining what is truly possible, and embracing an unshakable commitment to always getting back up is the recipe for creating long term success and lasting legacy. James teaches individuals and teams to eliminate excuses, redirect their internal conversations, embrace the discomfort of growth, and remove self-imposed limits. The result is an audience left empowered by self-belief, unencumbered by doubt, ready to set and pursue audacious goals. It’s an elevated bar. It’s a higher mountain. It’s a completely new impossible.

Keynote Session // John K Coyle
Tuesday April 8th | 1:45 pm - 3:15 pm
► Design Thinking and Innovation

John Coyle is an American short track speedskater who was part of the U.S. silver medal-winning relay team at the 1994 Winter Olympics. He is also an author, speaker and Design Thinking expert.
John will deliver an engaging discussion that will help you answer these questions differently. Instead of how to fix weaknesses, how do I leverage my strengths? Instead of trying to reduce stress to perform better, how do I perform better under greater stress (and learn to like it?)
1. Strengths 2.0: Applying Design Thinking to Individual and Team Strengths and Weaknesses. Learn about the “Design Thinking” mindset and process out of Stanford University (ubiquitously used at Apple, Google, Amazon and other Silicon Valley successes.) Through the metaphor of sport, learn how individuals and teams can use the Design Thinking methodology to identify and leverage their unique strengths (and design around weaknesses). Become empowered to solve old problems in new ways and achieve breakthrough results.
Participants will learn the process and mindset of Design Thinking and begin to drill down into their personal strengths and how those strengths (and associated weaknesses) might not be. Participants report that they are empowered to solve problems with a new mindset, and the belief that they can, when they double down on their native strengths and talents.
2. Resiliency 2.0: Applying Design Thinking to Stress and Resiliency. Instead of trying to manage or reduce stress or get work-life balance back, learn how to perform better under greater stress (and enjoy it)! Explore a new model of resiliency, one where proactive challenges are designed to build capacity for ever greater performance under pressure while learning the latest neuroscience of recovery. Change your relationship with stress by using the 3R method - Reduce, Recover, and Reframe.
Participants will learn the neuroscience and psychology of stress and recovery and then be informed and empowered on simple steps they can take to tackle the ever-increasing stresses of work and life in a way that metabolizes their stress and leaves them ready to take on more.
