He returned to collision as co-owner of a collision center in central Pennsylvania, where he was one of the earliest and most successful adopters of the lean principles we teach today. After establishing this business, he moved on to manage a multi-franchise dealership collision repair store outside of Pittsburgh for six years, again successfully applying the collision process improvement processes critical to our value added offerings. From my perspective

Communication and understanding is leverage when building a team. Teams become fragmented only when leadership has failed to provide a clear image of the current state, what needs to change for the future and engaged all participants to build a path for that future. Heart, commitment and passion are attributes necessary to move a team and build sustainability within a culture. People are a reflection of the leaders around them. If you can rally a team, success is imminent.
