As Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of CCC Information Services, Githesh has a rich history of experience in the auto-claims industry. Since joining CCC in 1992 as executive vice president of product engineering and chief technology officer, Githesh has held several key management positions. In 1996, he was named president of the insurance division while still retaining the role of Chief Technology Officer. A year later, he became president and chief operating officer, and in June 2000, he was elected chairman of the board.
Prior to CCC, Githesh was a Founding member of Sales Technologies, Inc., a leading field-sales automation software company that was sold to Dun & Bradstreet. In 1982, he designed one of the world's first microprocessor-based cardiac monitors that measure blood flow to the heart.
In addition, as a two-time member of Crain's Chicago Business' list of "Who's Who of Chicago Executives in Technology," Githesh continues to be a guest lecturer, panelist and speaker across the country.
Githesh also serves on the board of several technology companies and academic institutions. He holds a U.S. patent for claims-processing software design and is fluent in several languages.
Githesh received a Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, and a Master's degree in computer science from Georgia Tech University. He is an alumnus of the Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development Executive Education
